[CALIBK12] Gr. 6 -12: Virtual Academies- enough students? what about TLs?

I just read that two new virtual academies - an Academy of California, San
Diego and an Academy of California, Central, are launching this fall, free,
for middle school and high school full-time students. I know there are at
least two similar charter schools starting in our area this fall. Although I
think this is one wave of the future, I am wondering if there are presently
enough full-time online students, in, for example, our valley, to "fill" all
these schools this fall. May I hear your feedback about what is happening in
your area on this topic, and your thoughts on the matter, and how a
teacher/librarian could be a part of this? Thank you
