[CALIBK12] update on Gale widgets for FB

Minutes after posting my question yesterday, I received a call from Gale tech support.  They said they'd look into whether or not their database widgets can be used on Facebook fan pages.  I heard back from them this morning, and unfortunately, it's not possible.  They can only be placed on a profile, not a fan page.

This is a shame since I've heard of several schools using fan pages for their Facebook presence.  I'm not sure if this is due to a technical issue on Gale's side or Facebook's side, but it's unfortunate either way.  Maybe something will be developed in the future that will allow the widgets to be posted on fan pages.

I did appreciate that Gale contacted me, though.
