You mentioned San Jose State. They are drastically reducing the number of regular session (state subsidized) admissions for 2010, so one may want to apply to multiple programs, just in case. The special session (where you take the full brunt of the cost), however, may still be open. They are, also, reducing class offerings. In addition, tuition just went up by 400 more dollars to 1700+ per class (up from 1300+). This is not to dissuade anyone from entering into a program, but just as a warning as to the difficulties that one might face.

Subject: [CALIBK12] New Fresno Pacific University online cohort

Yet again, Fresno Pacific University is starting a new online cohort for its Teacher Librarian program. Having been both an instructor and a student in the program, I can attest to its high quality and standards. Also and importantly for some, the program is 100% online.

Should you be interested, you should contact Jo Ellen Misakian at jmisakian at fresno.edu.

In California, we are fortunate to have several quality programs (FPU, CSU Long Beach, Azusa Pacific, San Jose State). I encourage you to do your due diligence and make the choice that is right for you.
