FYI: At ALA, the AASL's Learning4Life workshop included a presentation by Nance Nassar, Colorado's School Library Senior Consultant. She shared the CoSLL (Colorado School Library Leaders) "Learner's Bill of Rights". See the list of 10 below:
Learner's Bill of Rights. The learner has the right to:
question and be curious.have personal ideas.choose how to learn and share understanding.plan and participate in learning at an appropriate level.grapple with challenging ideas or concepts.access the information and resources needed.participate in and contribute to a learning network.think critically, solve problems and make decisions.make mistakes and learn from them.reflect on learning.
Best wishes.
