[CALIBK12] Article Retrieval Help Needed

Hi All!

I need to get a copy of the following article:

"Singapore 'not safe from tsunami'" - 15 Oct. 2005 - From The Straits Times. Author is Ghosh, N. I found it through Infotrieve and I ordered a copy ($13 - ouch!).  I am awaiting arrival of the document to my e-mail In Box.  I tried to look through all the Public Library databases I have access to, with no success.

Does anyone have access to the text?  This is for an Assistant Principal who is in charge of my budget!  I'd rather get it sooner than later.  I've already retrieved two articles for him.  I think this may be some kind of test!  :-)

It was good to show that "Information is not free" and that our databases have merit (found one article in our Proquest database).  I actually was going to just pay the $13 as an expense of doing business, but he found out through my wording that I paid for it and gave me the cash - wow.  So I've already put in a phone call to Infotrieve.

Anyway, that's the whole story and probably too much information, but if you have access I'd like to know where I should have looked.

THANKS!!!

"This is the age of the open-source encyclopedia.  Words like 'research' and 'corroborated' now mean whatever the majority says they mean.  Personally, I'm voting for 'research' to mean 'speculation' and 'corroborated' to mean 'a zesty sour cream-based dip.'"
