Ann,

Thank you for sharing. I tried to do a direct reply but it was refused. Do you only have a single station? What is the time frame during which your books are returned and checked out? We are expected to wait until the last 3 days to collect the majority of texts, after the students finish the final. It is not very effective, since some of the staff tell the kids to get the books in on their own time after the final period. ( We had over $260,000 worth of books not turned in when school was over.) Also we don't get time to clean or repair books. I am going to lobby for change here with the new administration we are getting. I have finished my first year as a teacher librarian, but am getting ideas to do better. I like what I see for a lot of your work. Do your books remain out on the tables in the library during the entire summer?
