[CALIBK12] Selection Criteria for Middle School

Hello all!
 
Our private school is opening a middle school and we are now looking at
seperating books into a MS library.
 
Can I ask what selection criteria any of you use for deciding MS books?
It is a scary prospect to me.  Also if anyone uses any parent permission
slips for use of the library/acceptable use policies, etc can you send
on any copies of that?  Our principal is looking to me for some guidance
and I am uncomfortable offering any without a lot more research.
