[CALIBK12] European Travel Routes?

I am considering a road trip with my husband and some friends within Germany and driving to Salzburg (so my husband can say that he has been to Oesterreich at least once and been welcomed because of his name by people who know right away how to pronounce it).  I want to go to north Germany and to Normandy as well.  I lived in Germany for a year and want to take my husband to some places I lived or that are "must sees," so I don't want a packaged tour (except for going to the Oberammergau Passion Play).  The American cemetery in Normandy is on my "bucket list."  We am meeting with friends this Saturday night to discuss this trip, and I would like to have a tentative two-week itinerary.

What sites have any of you used to plan a map out routes by automobile through Europe with estimated driving times?
