Hi Everyone,

I just want to let anyone considering an author visit, staff training, or
Family Night know that California author Erin Dealey ( Goldie Locks Has
Chicken Pox and Little Bo Peep Can't Get To Sleep) would be a terrific
choice. She has been with us for two days doing assemblies, K storybook
sections, and writing workshops with our students. With her background in
teaching drama, math, and language arts, her love of the craft of writing,
and a lively sense of humor, she has charmed the youngest to the oldest
grades as well as those in between into producing outstanding poems,
descriptive paragraphs and personal narratives. Our staff is singing Erin's
praises for both the assemblies and the workshops.

The entire Ridgeview learning community highly recommends booking an author
visit with this talented and wonderful lady. You can contact her through her
website www.erindealey.com <http://www.erindealey.com/> .

Please feel to contact me for further information.

"Children's literature may be the most important literature you ever read.
This is the stuff that you read before you've figured out who you are,
before you've made up your mind on all sorts of subjects. This is the
literature that shapes you more than anything else." Philip Nel
