[CALIBK12] CSLA Southern Section Elections

The time for CSLA elections is quickly approaching.  The Southern
Section is looking for professional members to be candidates for the
following offices:

 

President-Elect  (three-year term; one year each as President-Elect,
President, Past President)

Region 1 Representative (two-year term)

Region 2 Representative (two-year term)

Region 3 Representative (two-year term)

Region 4 Representative (two-year term)

Region 5 Representative (two-year term)

Region 6 Representative (two-year term)

 

I would like to thank the following individuals who have already
committed to running for election or re-election:

 

Janice Gilmore-See, candidate for President-Elect

Jan Hartsell, candidate for Region 1 Representative

Kathy Alexander, candidate for Region 3 Representative

Marie Slim, candidate for Region 4 Representative

Norma St. Clair, candidate for Region 6 Representative

 

It would be great to have multiple candidates for each office on the
ballot, just like a national or state election.  

 

The Southern Section Handbook is now online at

would like to read the duties of the offices in this year's election.
Having served as both a Region Rep and as President-Elect, President,
and now Past President, I can answer any questions you might have about
the offices as well.

 

Please consider this opportunity to serve the members of the Southern
Section and the state organization as well.  As my five years on the
Southern Section Board come to a close, I can tell you that the
experience has been FUN and REWARDING.  If you are looking for an
opportunity to be more involved in CSLA, this is your chance.
