[CALIBK12] Library cuts and conference

Perhaps when workshop scheduling done for the entire year a call
could go out asking what days CTA State Council meets - as well as
other potential professional conflicts. It's often like herding cats
to find dates that work for everyone and this might be a beginning.
Would it be possible to post Powerpoints, handouts, etc. to the CSLA
website after the workshop? It's not the same as going to the
workshop but it would give every CSLA member throughout the state
more tools and strategies. This should, in no way, replace going to
the SS Spring Workshop, but would be of use to those who live in
other parts of the state and those with calendar conflicts. Nothing
can replace the networking and topical conversations that happen at a
conference or workshop.
1009 Conference Committee: Could there be a one-day workshop at the
conference where tools are shared and people can start developing
their own toolkit with resources to pull at a moment's notice. For
example, a Powerpoint that is directed to that particular member's
school board, superintendent, and principals (modeled on those shown
at the workshop)?
