My dear colleagues,
I apologize for my lack of info. Like you all, I'm a bit busy here (How
anyone could dream of closing this library I don't know; who is going to
handle all this?)  Here is more information on the education rally March
16th.

MARCH  16-BUDGET RALLY IN SACRAMENTO
    United Teachers of Los Angeles will travel in a bus caravan to rally
with other education unions, community college and other education advocates
to protest "draconian cuts" in education.  The UTLA bus  Leaves Sunday night
at midnight and if you are an LAUSD educator you can visit UTLA.net for more
information (there is no cost to ride the bus). The march to the Capitol
begins at 10 am at Raley Field. The rally at the North Steps of the Capitol
begins at noon. 

JOIN US!!!  LET'S REPRESENT LIBRARIES!! I think we need a special t-shirt or
sign...send me your ideas for a slogan!

On Monday, March 16th, there will be a union action in Sacramento to
encourage to stop cuts to education. I am riding the bus from Los Angeles
which leaves Sunday night.  I'll be there, will you?
