[CALIBK12] Honk your own horn!

I received teacher of the year last May 2008 for Windemere Ranch Middle
School in San Ramon, part of the San Ramon Valley Unified School
District.

However, I moved to a new school this year.  

Unfortunately, our Teacher Librarians are facing a 50% cut if our parcel
tax does not pass.

According to district staff, superintendant thinks we are great, but
didn't stop the cuts.  We did impress him with a presentation a couple
of weeks ago.

As heard on Larry King Live last night.

Okay - here's my honk:  I received Teacher of the Year for my High
School this past Friday.  Yeah!  Woohoo!

Well, Deb Stanley has been Teacher of the Year, and I know that there
was another woman earlier this year whose principal needed convincing
but ultimately awarded her  Teacher of the Year (I can't find the email
but I remember it from CALIB).

What I want to compile is a list of Teacher Librarians who have received
Teacher of the Year or a similar honor.  Deb and I think it may help
advocacy efforts.  

So please let me know if you have received Teacher of the Year or
equivalent or if you know a Teacher Librarian who has.
