I just had an eighth grade teacher ask if there are any historical fiction books I would recommend to her eighth grade students that deal with the Crusades (any religion or race), with a girl as the protagonist. They are already reading "Bound" by Donna Jo Napoli. Any titles you guys and gals can think of would be most appreciated!
