[CALIBK12] Question about an Author Offer

Hello everyone,

We recently received a new book in the mail from Empyrean Hill Books with a cover letter from Suzanne Castelein basically explaining that the author (Melaine Bryant) is the author of a new series of books for middle school age and up and is giving talks, answering questions, and signing books and it states that this author would love to come and talk to our students.  There isn’t a fee for her visit and to accept this complimentary copy of The Prophecy Keepers and they would be in touch next week.

Has anyone had this author come visit their school?  We are leery because in our experience you normally get what you pay for.
