OOPS - sorry about the earlier post.

I did not intend to post my whole list. I was picking and choosing some
of the more user-friendly and fun ones, but I accidently sent the whole
list before I deleted the "extras".

Here are a few that may help:

Wacky Web Tales; online version of MadLibs that is an enjoyable way for
students to learn about the parts of speech

http://www.eduplace.com/tales/

Grammar Girl; podcasts about a variety of grammar topics

http://grammar.quickanddirtytips.com/

Grammar Bytes; definition of grammar terms, interactive exercises, and
printouts for further practice
http://www.chompchomp.com/menu.htm

Big Dog's Grammar; very clever bare bones guide to English, grammar, and
parts of speech. (also in Spanish)

Subject: [CALIBK12] grammar games for CASHEE students

Dear Folks,

One of our teachers has a CASHEE prep class and needs really clear,
grammar sites. The students are very discouraged and easily disdracted
10th, 11th and 12th graders, so it needs to look age appropriate but
have the ability to begin at a middle school level and move up. She
wants something that has little text; she already has tried Chomp Chomp
with some success. Any other ideas?
