[CALIBK12] Book Reports

I'm doing a very informal survey of book reports requirements at the middle
school level.  Do your teachers require them?  How many per quarter or
semester?  Do they have page requirements?  Do they specify a genre?  What
form to they take: oral, written, ppt, etc.?   I have two teachers who are
not happy with what their student produce and are thinking of ways to change
it up.  Thanks for you help!
