[CALIBK12] ALA elections

Here is what ALA Pres-Elect candidate Kent Oliver said in his platform statement in the 3/09 issue of American Libraries. One of his specific 'planks' was:  "implement an action plan to address the plight of school libraries and media specialists. . . etc." His opponent made no mention at all of school libraries, even tho' she may have been a school librarian earlier in her career. His statement deals with NOW, so I voted for him.
