No trouble at all, Megan! That's why we're here-to support one another
in our endeavors to educate youth and make the world a better place.
Right?

I'VE TAKEN THE PLEDGE! Have you?

Good morning - We have a student group on campus that is participating
in the Lexus Eco Challenge. Here is a snippet of what this means:

As one of 48 winning teams in the earlier stages of the Lexus Eco
Challenge, Woodcreek High School in Roseville, CA has qualified to enter
the contest's Final Challenge for a chance to win part of $520,000 in
grants and scholarships.

The three initial Challenges, addressing land, water, and air/climate,
asked teams to take a stand for the environment in their local
community. Our initial challenge was to improve biodiversity in the
Woodcreek Nature Center. We primarily focused on educating the community
during our Nature Center shows about the unique and fragile habitats in
the preserve. We also spent a lot of time removing invasive species like
water hyacinth and star thistle and replanting native wildflowers and
trees.

The Final Challenge requires teams to reach beyond the local community
and inspire environmental action around the world through innovative
ideas that the team must communicate to a wide audience. We are trying
to reach the world with educational videos on YouTube, Facebook and this
website. We are also tapping into the massive power of E-MAIL to send
our message directly to thousands of people.

I am asking you to please visit their webpage at
http://crochuntercrew.com <http://crochuntercrew.com/> and sign a
pledge to reduce your carbon footprint. Our school could win up to
$50,000 in grants and scholarships. Our students and faculty advisor
have worked tirelessly to promote their program and we are proud of all
they have accomplished.

I appreciate your support!!
