Hi all!

I'd like to also encourage everyone to submit a proposal.  I've submitted 3 - one on my own, one with a colleague from the north, and one with a colleague from my district.  Each one took me about 20 minutes to prepare and submit.  You may want to pair up with someone to give each other support, bounce ideas off each other, or just to connect.  Or do it on your own!  You can do it!!!

I was scared stiff when I first presented solita at CSLA 2007, but the conference participants are OUR kind of people.  They love to learn!

Any topic will fit - as long as it pertains to School Libraries!

Our theme is "Embrace the Serendipity of Learning."  What serendipitous discovery have you made and can share???

Dear CALIB friends,

Here's a friendly reminder that there are just two days left to
propose concurrent sessions for the CSLA 2009 Conference in November.
Please don't miss the opportunity! Submit your proposal by this
Friday, May 8.

Please visit the proposal information link at http://csla.aaiden.com/)
for all the information. If you have any questions about topics,
please contact our concurrent session chairs, Joan Kramer,
joan.kramer at lausd.net
, or Ellen Whelpton, whlptn at aol.com. Contact Carolyn Tienken, our
Conference and Exhibits Coordinator, at carolynt at csla.net or by phone
at the CSLA office at (916) 447-2684 for assistance if you encounter
any difficulties with the submission process.

Finally, remember that being a presenter is a great way to show your
administrators the value of your attendance, and will also help defray
the costs of attending. CSLA members receive one-half registration for
each session presented and non-members receive free registration for
the day of the conference or half off full conference registration.

We forward to seeing your proposal and seeing you in November!

With best wishes,

Jane Lofton

CSLA 2009 Conference Chair
