I would like to reply both to Bonnie and to the list at large.

Bonnie, I am sorry that some of those on our listserv feel this topic is inappropriate. We are - or should be - an inclusive association that supports ALL of our members. I can not count the number of posts that I have read about the value of LMTs and, for the most part, I have supported both the posters and their positions even though I am a classified staff member.

To the list at large, I think that all of us, as library professionals, support access to accurate and timely information. Bonnie has provided us with information that some people may not have otherwise seen. This information may be helpful in supporting members of our Association. I do not see that she has asked you to support CSEA or its actions, only that she has taken the time to share what she knows.

Thank you Bonnie, for acting as an information professional.

Linda Beth Freese
Library Manager (and classified staff member)
