That's a really good point, Lisa, and something we should all do...look for and take advantage of any situations to advocate for strong library programs.
And just smile at WASC -- and everyone else tossing lemons at us -- and keep making our absolutely wonderful, postively perfect, especially terrific lemonade.
(gold stars awarded for identifying the story I'm reading to the K/1 classes today) : )

Hi Rusty,
I was actually very happy to be a part of the recommendations. Our school takes them very seriously and now I know that I will have a voice at least until our next accreditation comes around. In a way, it's a perfect opportunity for me to advocate for the library and show how important it is. I am glad that the accreditation process recognizes the value of the library.
